A reception will be held on Friday, May 29, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Garnett Fire Station, 132 W. 4th Avenue. The public is invited to attend.

  Pat retires from his duties as Garnett Fire Chief and Code Enforcement Officer. He has served this community with a combined total of 38 years as an EMT for the Anderson County Hospital, as a Patrolman and Police Chief prior to his recent duties. Thank you, Pat!
