The City of Garnett and Marvin Planning Consultants held a Town Hall Meeting on April 30, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Building (Anderson County Fairgrounds) for the City of Garnett Comprehensive Plan update project. This was an opportunity for all citizens and business owners to give input, and discuss the future growth and development in the city.
This meeting covered city-wide issues concerning opportunities and challenges facing our community. The planning team was present to answer questions and discuss surveys and online participation. Topics will include housing, employment, public facilities, utilities, land use, transportation, and more.
