The City of Garnett would like to introduce to you our new City Clerk, Trish Brewer. Please join us in welcoming Trish to Garnett.
From Trish -
"I am honored to be a part of the City of Garnett, not only as a citizen, but as your City Clerk. I have worked in the public sector for 36 years through Public Schools, County and City Government.
My husband is retired from Law Enforcement, which I am happy for him, yet sad as LEO runs through my family and in my blood. I honor and respect it greatly. We have been married 19 years and between us have six children, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
We are down to earth country folk, enjoy playing old country, bluegrass and traditional gospel music, hunting, fishing, gardening and other outdoor activities. We have supported community music functions for many years and hope to begin those activities here soon. Everyone has a song in their heart. It is helping others to express their song, that is truly the joy in playing for others.
My door at City Hall is always open. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know each of you.
Thank you for welcoming us into the community."
